Welcome to PLVC 13 adidas!
Our team objective is to continue to develop player skills in all aspects of the game. We are looking for 8-10 players who are willing to learn and work hard. Our goal is to advance players as individuals, but also develop a team to play at a competitive level in the Gateway Region, and have fun while doing it!
This team will play a competitive schedule. The team will participate in at least 2 out of town tournaments, as well as the President’s Day Classic in St. Louis. We will play 3 out of 4 weekends starting mid-January through Gateway Regionals and the Bid Event. We will play approximately 10 tournaments through the course of the season. We will decide on specific travel plans after the team has been chosen.

Coaching Philosophy: One of the best pieces of advice I’ve received about coaching is that first and foremost, we coach people. It is important to remember the human-aspect of the game. I coach to pass on knowledge of the game, to be part of a team, and to shape relationships of young athletes – with authority figures, with their peers, and with themselves. I believe that being exposed to character-building situations and learning in a “fear of failure”-free environment one can develop a healthy competitiveness. I aim to demonstrate and expect good sportsmanship, to set priorities and goals, and to encourage good decision making both on and off the court.
